Malcolm Bruce

Technical Manager

Malcolm started his career as a draftsman in the army, serving in many interesting locations. Closer to home, he has built up a great track record of successful projects across the UK and further afield over a long and distinguished career – he has worked for years with members of the Trail team.  He is our technical expert and provides essential support to our practice in a variety of areas, including detail design and specification, and in addressing the progress of our projects through construction.

Siobhán Dyson

Associate Director

Siobhán has been an integral part of Trail Architects since 2018 following her graduation from the University of Dundee and experience gained working on bespoke architecture in rural Perthshire. Siobhan has been an Associate Director since January 2022 and has a key role as a senior member of the team, showcasing her hands-on experience delivering high-end leisure and residential projects in the North of England, Wales and the Scottish Highlands. Siobhan’s diligent and approachable nature makes her an exemplary asset to the team, successfully delivering projects at all RIBA design stages, including procurement and contract negotiation.

Martin P English

Director

Martin founded Trail Architects with a trusted team in 2017 after a career which included eight years as Managing Director of a major architectural firm with multiple offices across the UK and abroad. Martin has genuine hands-on cross sector experience across an over 30 year career since qualification, successfully delivering excellent projects in every sector. Martin is an intuitive problem solver who brings energy and a wealth of experience to the challenge of unlocking the full potential of complex projects in collaboration with his clients and the talented team at Trail.

Lauren McIntyre

Associate Director

Lauren is an invaluable part of Trail Architects, having graduated in Architecture at the University of Dundee, she gained experience working in a large scale architectural practice, going on to join Trail in 2017. While working on a range of architectural projects, she is also our Company Secretary, dealing with the business’s finances and management. Lauren is involved in multiple projects within the office, from bespoke domestic work, to large scale holiday accommodation and social housing schemes across the Highlands, and high quality residential projects in London. Lauren has extensive experience dealing with challenging projects from complex planning situations right through to construction, with years of hands-on site experience.

Rozalina Hristova

Architectural Assistant

Rozalina obtained her Masters in Architecture at Dundee University, and is now instrumental in developing a range of projects at a variety of stages, from early feasibility to technical design.  Rozalina has an extensive technical background that has proved invaluable to the office, she is involved in a number of commercial and leisure tourism projects across the UK, applying her rigorous attention to detail to all of her work, as well as her exceptional 3D modelling abilities.

Kenny Phillips

Kenny has completed his Bachelors in Architecture at the University of Dundee, and is now a part 1 architectural assistant working within the team. Kenny has brought with him a dynamic visual presentation style and eye for detail at both a macro and micro scale. Kenny is currently working on some bespoke office and tourism refurbishments, concentrating on maximising flexible interior spaces, he has also been instrumental in the delivery of planning applications in the south of England, enhancing submissions with his exceptional presentation skills.
